The One with 10 Years

June 8 was our 10 year wedding anniversary.  Apparently, anything past 7 years is an accomplishment.  I personally didn't think it was that big of a deal.  It was actually kind of easy, and really enjoyable.  I guess we were just meant to be!

I can't believe we got married when we were only 15!

We had always planned on going to Hawaii without the kids for our 10 year anniversary.  Then we started thinking that maybe we should go somewhere new since we'd already been to Hawaii before we had kids.  We had our sights set on a Caribbean cruise, but realized we didn't have enough time to get our passports in between all the things we already had planned for this summer.  We had to postpone our trip, but we will definitely do it sometime.

We celebrated with a huge family dinner at El Rancho, since it was also my nephew Kyle's 9th birthday (Richie's family had flown in the night before, and Moni's family came from Phoenix).

10 things I love about our marriage:

1.  It's for eternity. I can't believe how lucky we are.
2.  We don't have lovey dovey nicknames...he simply calls me "Boss".
3.  I sweep, he mops.
4.  Every Saturday morning for the past 10 years Steve has played basketball and I have gone for a long run.  Never fails (minus injury, illness, and vacations of course).
5.  I've never heard him fart.
6.  We've eaten probably a gazillion pans of brownies.  I still eat the edges, while he eats the middles.
7.  We have the best extended families.  I love his, and he loves mine (or at least pretends to).
8.  He always drives so I can read.
9.  TT&T.
10.  We love each other more today than yesterday.

awww... Cute! Congrats on 10 years! Your nickname thing is funny. We don't have lovey nicknames either. Bryan just calls me "belly". How nice. :)
