When I saw the announcement for the first annuaul Winslow Freedom Festival kid's parade, I knew it was right up our alley. We gathered up some cousins and friends and got dressed in our patriotic clothes and decorated our bikes, wagons, and scooters.
Tatum rode the double tricycle with her baby doll, Yo-Yo (who goes EVERYWHERE with us now).
Tobin sat in the wagon.
Talan rode his bike (he was VERY tired and hot by the end).
Our group (Noah, Collin, Talan, Peter, Tatum, and Tobin) posing for the judges.
And what better way to cool off after the hot parade than with shaved ice and a dip in the creek?
The perfect ending to our day was watching Tobin watch the fireworks. We thought for sure he was going to be scared, especially with our front row seats right where they were lighting the fireworks. But, he loved them! He was so cute smiling and pointing and blinking.
Happy 4th of July!

We DID have a great 4th together....although we were pretty pooped then too.
The picture of Talan made me laugh- so funny.
We should spend another 4th together. Good times. Good times.
