The One with the Entrepreneur

It was a nice, hot day so Talan had the great idea to have a lemonade stand.  He set up his table and chairs, made the lemonade (yikes), and poured it into cups.  Then he ran around yelling, "Free lemonade, free lemonade"!  That's when we stepped in and encouraged him to charge people for it so he could save money for college.

A little while later as we were watching from the window, a nice lady stopped and handed Talan a dollar bill.  We saw him shake his head, tell her something, and give it back to her.  Then she handed him some coins and went on her way with her lemonade.  When he came inside we asked him what he told her and he said he told her he didn't want any dollars, just round ones.

Turns out Talan might not be the best entrepreneur after all.  If we ever have a day without wind, we will try another lemonade stand...

LOVE IT! My kids are the same way. Their great-grandpa gives them dollars & they're like, Yeah, whatever but you should see how excited they get when he pulls out the coins.

LOL- I can just see him running around "free lemonade." Thanks, for the laugh, Talan!

Emma is DYING to have a lemonade stand- come visit and they can do it together....and Talan can have all the money for college (since he will have flown here and all to make his 40 cents)

Your post made me laugh. I love it! I want him to make me some free lemonade when I visit, and I think I might even be able to find a few 'round ones' to donate to the fund!
