The One with the Handprints

"Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small,
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls.

But everyday I'm growing,
I'll be grown up someday,
And all these tiny handprints
Will simply fade away.

So here's a final handprint
Just so you can recall,
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small."

We made these wonderful stones handprints with the cub scouts for Mother's Day.  Then Talan brought this poem about handprints home from preschool and it was exactly the reminder I needed.  Some people may say I have a cleaning problem.  I think they're right.

Here's to spending more time with my adorable, loving, silly kids and less time cleaning up their messes.

I am reluctant to admit that I had a small tear in my eye as I read this. What is wrong with me? I'm a lame-o.

2nd, is that curly hair I see in that picture? It is about time.
