The One with Breast Cancer Month

October is a special month because it's all about breast cancer. This is something very important to our family because my mom is a breast cancer survivor and has been cancer free for about 3 years now.

She and a few others affected by breast cancer were honored at the WHS football game. She got to walk out on the field with the captains. All the fans and coaches were wearing pink, and the football players had pink socks and towels.

My mom, Christie, and I also did the 3rd Annual Breast Cancer 10K. Tatum started out with us but left early due to a cold wind.

I'm so glad I got to celebrate these events with my mom. I am thankful everyday for her positive attitude and clean bill of health!
